James Karp is a magician, producer, director and the creator of The Magicians Cabaret Theatre Restaurant Venue in Sydney, reviewed as best three things to see in Sydney by American celebrity magazine Cliché. With a career spanning over two decades James has performed well over two thousand magic shows in the private and corporate sector, produced / directed over five hundred shows at The Magicians Cabaret Theatre Restaurant and since 2014 produced annually the opening ceremony show for the French World Festival. Clients have included Channel 7, Dynamo, Disney, 2Day FM, The Star Casino, Revlon, BMW to name but a few. Furthermore, James has been invited to be a judge at the Short and Sweet Cabaret Festival and is a theatre critic for Sydney Arts Guide.

James Karps’ magic show synopsis
Noted for his wit and wonder James Karp solo magic show (featuring some routines from his acclaimed La Fortuna cabaret dinner show) is available for private or corporate events. From making objects appear and disappear to feats of mind reading and plenty of audience interaction James’ magic show is an adventure of thrills, laughter and wonder. MW magazine wrote “his craftsmanship in creating such a visual feast has spellbinding results”. In addition to his magic show you also receive roving magic specializing in card tricks and cardistry.
James Karp is available to perform as just a roving magician. His repertoire includes sleight of hand and card tricks.
PRODUCING / DIRECTING
Since 2014 James French cabaret show “La Belle Rose” has been featuring at the French World Festival to audience’s world-wide. It plays on Bastille Day, 14th July, Annually, front of Customs House, Sydney, Australia.
James Karp is the current President of The Magic Academy. James has lectured on the art of magic to fellow magicians, celebrities and various corporate companies for team building events. 2015 saw James invited by Sydney University to lecture on how magicians fool the human mind.
