Noted for his story telling and wonder James Karp Tails of Trickery magic show (featuring some routines from his acclaimed La Fortuna cabaret dinner show- reviewed as best three things to do in Sydney by USA celebrity magazine Cliché) is available for private or corporate events, ideal for after dinner entertainment. From making objects appear and disappear to feats of mind reading and card effects, with plenty of audience interaction. James’ magic show is an adventure of thrills, laughter and wonder. MW magazine wrote “his craftsmanship in creating such a visual feast has spellbinding results”.
Master Illusionist. James performs illusions such as levitating his assistant, cutting a girl in four pieces, making a car appear, changing his assistant into a tiger or puma and escaping from flames, only to reappear in the audience moments later.

The Museum of Magic guided day tour is a journey back through the ages, Once you recite the magician secret oath you enter the magicians world of magic. Led by James you will experience firsthand how a magician orchestrates his magic show. For centuries secrets have been handed down verbally from magician to magician or through underground dealings. On this tour you will feel like you are searching, or travelling for the purpose of discovery. You shall unearth old and untold curiosities.

An intimate evening of Magic Dinner & Show
5.00pm The cabaret room opens
5.20pm Dinner -Roasted Chicken Provencal. Chicken drizzled with garlic and lemon on a bed of carrots and beans.
5.45pm Desert- Crème Brulée
6.03pm Reciting of the sacred and secret magician’s oath
6.05pm Magic show
7.00pm Evening concludes.
